Martin Luther King Jr. is a famous figure in African American and American history. He is one of the most celebrated African Americans who lead the Black Civil Rights Movement to fight for the equality and freedom for African Americans. The speech I Have a Dream is King’s most famous speech, which helped African Americans fight for their rights of equality. The I Have a Dream speech purpose was to seek equality among blacks and whites, while feminism discusses equality among men and women. The rhetorician perspective analyses King’s message in the I Have a Dream speech, how King’s message was presented to the audience and how the audience reacted to the message of the speech. The equality that King argues, is the equality among black Americans and white Americans while the equality that feminisms argues is the equality among men and women. At the end of the day both groups are searching for equal rights. Call it love. I can relate it to so many things when it comes to the waters of the lake, the surroundings of nature and its day to day basis. One can say it is just a lake or just mother nature, but any way you cut it, it is life at its best. And one can relate to it in their own ways. This is where I relax and relate to everyday living.
